PDGA C-tier Tournament - 2 rounds

 

 

The weather was great and the competition was hot for the fifth annual Scarboro Scorcher held on August 24, 2013. It was another sell out crowd at Scarboro Hills Disc Golf Course. First round was played from the blue tees and second round was played from the red tees.

 

Young Matty Kashima romped the field in the Mens Open division (100), winning by 5 throws, and setting a new course record (50) from the blue tees. Jimi McIlvain won Pro Grandmasters (107) claiming back-to-back titles in that division. Local Ryan Doyle gets the Advanced Am win shooting a 109. Karl Molitoris bombed the Epic all the way to an 8 throw win in Advanced Masters (101). Southern Maryland Disc Golf Club Representative Mike Seay takes home the Intermediates title (118). Rec and Juniors played both rounds from the red tees. In Rec, the winner was Ian Hall (119). Chris Borries won the 13 and under division (154) and Emily Cline won the womens' division (140).

 

Congrats to Jay Burghardt for the hole in one on 3 during the second round. Scorpio Disc Golf was on site handling the Am payouts. Big thanks to all our sponsors listed on right.
